Mashgichim are the backbone of what we do. You'll work directly with CK-certified businesses, supervise kosher preparation and service, and ensure the highest standards of kashrut across NSW. It's meaningful work that supports both community and livelihoods.

Who We're Looking For

To become a mashgiach with Community Kashrut, you need to be:

• Shomer Shabbat — Observant of Jewish law and Shabbat
• Interested in Kashrut — Passionate about learning halachic food laws and deepening your knowledge (training provided)
• Reliable & Professional — Punctual, thorough, and able to work with diverse businesses
• Community-Minded — Committed to serving the broader NSW Jewish community

What We Offer

The Role

As a CK mashgiach, you'll:

• Supervise food preparation, storage, and service at certified businesses
• Ensure ingredients, equipment, and processes meet CK and halachic standards
• Maintain detailed supervision records and report to CK management
• Encounter interesting shailas and work with our Rav and Head of Mashgichim to address them
• Work collaboratively with other mashgichim and our Vaad HaRabonim
